Xiaomi 13 Series have received their first major upgrade already and now they will get second one which is HyperOS 2 on Android 15. Users are really excited because in China they are going to implement AI features which is a good news for the Xiaomi fans. But today some bad news arrived regarding Xiaomi 13 Series.
Xiaomi 13 Series – Incomplete HyperOS 2
Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 13 Ultra will receive HyperOS 2 but not complete features, and it will be based on Android 15 for these smartphones too but still company reveals that we will not provide them. There will be no AI features due to hardware issue.
Some special effects cannot keep up. Hardware, especially AI capabilities, have improved greatly in the past two years. And this is the reason they can’t give AI features in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and as we know Redmi K70 also equip same SoC so it will also not receive them.
If you are using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices of Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, so you guys will not be happy after updating to HyperOS 2, if you want to use them then you should enable root in the system and by 3rd party methods you guys can use them.
What do you think that you will get AI features of HyperOS 2 in Xiaomi 13 Series? As per me, there will be no because last time they claimed that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 don’t support Advanced Textures and Xiaomi 12 Series didn’t receive them. And now they did same for 13 series.
