So yes now Xiaomi 12 Series users will receive the new major upgrade on Android 15 in January 2025 as stable builds are ready for them. Xiaomi 12 Series – HyperOS 2 Status
Xiaomi had confirmed that 13 Series will not receive AI features and they fulfil their promise, so now Xiaomi 12 Series will also not get them as it is older than 13 Series. But Android 15 basic features with HyperOS 2 is officially coming soon. In global users can get Gemini AI features too, but for now there is no confirmation.
