
Xiaomi CEO officially announced that Company will increase the Prices of all Series devices in 2026, and its not only for this company, it applies for OnePlus, OPPO, Nothing and all other brands. Not only smartphones but all products are going to be expensive from 2026, it is happening due to shortage of Chip in recent years. Everyone is demanding only AI Features in the devices, and they have taken the decision of Price Hike from 2026.
Xiaomi Devices – Price Hike
According to the CEO, demand of AI is increasing day by day by the users, and every brand is trying to provide the latest AI Features in their smartphones. Mid Range, Low End and all other series getting them, and Major Manufactures like Samsung and more brands have redirected from HBM (High Bandwidth Memory). It is generally for AI Servers. It has created a shortage of the modules which are used in the devices (DRAM and NAND). Due to high demands and shortage, pricing of these is increased so brands have to too.
Xiaomi has signed contract already which helps them to secure the supplies for the 2026 Year. Xiaomi Pricing is already high for some devices, and from 2026 we will see a huge difference in it from last year. As they have already informed that in 2026 Devices will get a Price Hike. Xiaomi Series, REDMI Note, REDMI K and other series too; and it becomes necessary for all of them.

First Launch in 2026
For Example: Xiaomi will launch the first Series in January 2026 for Global and India, REDMI Note 15 Series. It is already overpriced, and after the price hike company will increase 112$ (10,000INR approximate) to this series, for others they will increase as per SoC Details. So for consumers every device will be expensive, so brand has to work on Quality, Feedback from users and keep the pricing honest.
