HyperOS 2.0 updates are already launched and now 2.1 running, in upcoming days they are set to push the HyperOS 2.2 updates which will arrive with latest features and improvements. And now Android 16 preparation is officially started, and Xiaomi started working on Global too, here official builds are spotted for the latest Xiaomi smartphones.
Somehow its a shocking news for everyone that the company begins testing of the upcoming Android version and its too early from last time. Quarter 1 is also not over and we have seen the official builds of Android 16, lets check the latest details now.
Android 16 Updates – HyperOS 2.0
Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 updates testing again started but this time its on Android 16 upgrade, BETA builds are officially available. We can say these are PRE builds which are specially prepared for the testing, and if company didn’t see any major bugs and issues so they will prepare the stable builds and start pushing it without any single issue. Lets check out which builds are spotted, and when we can expect the stable updates rollout for the Xiaomi smartphones.
Android 16 – Global Updates
- Xiaomi 15: OS2.0.250226.1.WOCMIXM.PRE
- Xiaomi 14T Pro: OS2.0.250227.1.WNNMIXM.PRE
It clearly shows that Xiaomi 15 Android 16 update spotted on February 26th and for Xiaomi 14T Pro on February 27th 2025, so we have to wait for the Android 16 rollout from the Google which will be done in Quarter 2 and from Quarter 2 end to Quarter 3 we can see Android 16 updates in Xiaomi devices too, but we know Xiaomi company never push major Android upgrade without their major OS upgrade.
