Xiaomi has launched something exciting for the Fans, and it was totally unexpected for us. This is something new for us, in this article I will explain each and everything related to the HyperOS 3.1 SOTA which is recently released for many devices with same version but many changes in the update. HyperOS 3.1 – Super OTA (SOTA)
With HyperOS 3.1, Xiaomi has introduced a new update system called SOTA (Super OTA). Instead of changing the full version number, Xiaomi now keeps the same version but adds tags like C05, C06, C07, etc., to show internal changes in the ROM.
This means updates can include bug fixes, optimizations, and minor improvements without changing the main version name. Recently, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Series received a new C06 update, even though the version remains the same—so don’t be confused when you see this. There is a new thing which got added by Xiaomi in HyperOS 3.1 Beta Builds and its the biggest change ever from Xiaomi.
HyperOS 3.1 Last Beta Update was C05, and the new Beta comes with same version but code updated from C05 to C06 as you can see in the above images. Everyone is enjoying the new HyperOS 3.1 New Beta Updates with these changes, so be ready for the more updates in the future, whenever Xiaomi will release them, I will make new article related to the Super OTA Updates of Xiaomi.
