[Unexpected] POCO announced to close their website on December 31st

POCO shutting down

POCO is a separate brand for Global and India markets which launch smartphones, tablets, earbuds and more products. And POCO brand generally makes rebrand devices of China markets which was launched as Xiaomi and Redmi models. Today some shocking news arrived which is totally unexpected for the users, because they have not thought that company will do this.

POCO – Shutting Down

POCO has officially announced in their website that we are closing the site on December 31st, and before that there are some points you have to follow if you have any coupon and other data. Company is moving their data from POCO site to Xiaomi and their data will be restored there. As we know there are very less users who use POCO community and store. So that’s why they decided to close their website, and that domain will not work after 31st December 2024.


POCO all product pages will be moved to Mi website which shows brand is not shutting down, only their website closing permanently. From 2025, we will see something big from POCO, so if you have device of that brand then wait for 2025 to see the major upgrade with new features.

To:

  • Websites under the www.ml.com/global/domain (hereinafter known severally as “the mi.com Site”), subject to the exceptions stated below.
  1. Close the POCO Sites on December 31, 2024.

To achieve the aforementioned objectives, and as explained in point No. I above, we are relocating all product pages from the POCO Sites to the mi.com Sites.

The products that you have purchased on your local po co website and POCO Store app will continue enjoying customer and after-sales services from Xiaomi. Please visit:

  1. https://www.mi.com/global/support/ to look up information on customer or after-sales service or to apply for such service; and
  2. https://www.mi.com/global/support/warranty/ to look up information on our warranty service or to apply for such service.

In any case, after the eventual closure of the POCO Sites:

  1. If you visit a website under the domain of //www.po.co/global/ by, including but not limited to, your browser’s address bar, a URL, you have bookmarked or a QR code on our packaging, you will be redirected to a website under the domain of https://www.mi.com/global/; and
  2. If you visit the POCO Store app, it will have been closed; and therefore

while we will retain your personal data for a period of time after the closure in accordance with all applicable laws, for your convenience, we advise you to keep, as you need, your own record of your history on the POCO Sites. You can obtain a copy of your personal data collected and generated on the POCO Sites by:

  1. logging in to your Xiaomi Account:
  2. going to “Privacy” >> “Manage your data”, and then
  3. selecting the download button next to “Mi Store Internationall”, by which you can download your personal data collected and generated on the

POCO Sites along with those collected and generated on the mi.com Sites.

All your rights as a consumer (including but not limited to warranty rights will be fully upheld in accordance with applicable laws. We remain
