Xiaomi has started releasing the HyperOS 2.2 May BETA Updates for REDMI K70 Series devices, two smartphones from this series have got it and I am going to show you all changes of these updates with installation way. Xiaomi pushed these updates for two devices from this series, other two will get tomorrow. So lets see what are the changes and which builds are available for the REDMI K70 Ultra and K70E.
REDMI K70E | K70 Ultra: HyperOS 2.2 BETA May Updates
Both REDMI K70E and K70 Ultra received HyperOS 2.2 May BETA Updates with updated features and improvements, but changelog is slightly different as we know K70 Ultra had already got the Camera 6.0, but K70E received it just now with May 2025 patch. Size of the update is 801MB for K70E, while K70 Ultra got it in 525MB.

- System: Optimize the stability of opening/closing application animations. Fixed the issue that the volume adjustment of some apps was abnormal. Fixed the issue where wallpaper is lost occasionally when opening/closing the app. Fixed the issue of abnormal display of apps when opening/closing apps

- Set up: Fixed the issue that the font size setting did not take effect
